The rear-wheel drive model features an eight-speed Sport Direct Shift® automatic transmission, while opting for all-wheel drive gives you a six-speed automatic instead. For 2026, the electric power steering and suspension systems have been optimized for a more consistent steering feel.

The cabin of the 2026 Lexus IS is filled with driver-focused amenities for a connected drive. You'll receive a larger 12.3-inch central touchscreen display and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
